Location
Greenkeeper Lodge is out of the clamour of the city but within easy reach of iconic tourist attractions such as Kirstenbosch (15mins), Table Mountain and the Victoria & Albert Waterfront (25 mins).  Close by (5-10 mins) are 3 premier golf courses, Westlake, Steenberg and Clovelly, as well as the Constantia Valley Wine Route. The airport is 30 mins away.

A wide range of excellent restaurants & shops as well as the motorways are within easy reach.

In addition, it is on the doorstep of Muizenberg, famous for its pristine miles-long beach and coveted destination of surfers and swimmers for its regular rollers and warmer water.  Beyond lie a series of picturesque villages  tucked between the sea and the mountains along the narrow coastline of False Bay.  Further on, Cape Point beckons, the impressive meeting point of the cold Atlantic and the more benign Indian Ocean.

Accommodation
Greenkeeper Lodge overlooks the 13th green of Westlake Golf Course and offers luxurious self-catering accommodation with a spectacular mountain vista. It is a spacious one-bedroomed apartment on the upper floor of the main dwelling with private access via an external staircase,and safe off-street parking. It sleeps 2-3 people.

The large double bedroom is airy and light with French doors opening onto a small balcony and a wonderful mountain vista.  It is fitted with either an extra-length kingsize bed or with extra-length single beds and top quality linen.

The living room has a comfortable sofa, which doubles as a sofabed for an extra guest or children, and includes a small 4-seater dining table.

The open-plan livingroom opens onto a private balcony from where one can quietly watch the birdlife on the golfcourse between the  golfing fourballs passing by.  An outdoor table  & umbrella make it a delightful spot for an al fresco breakfast or sundowner. 

The kitchenette is well equipped with a double-door fridge, a 2-plate stove, a microwave/griller and a coffee machine in addition to the normal kettle and toaster.  A complimentary  bowl of fruit and a bottle of wine  add a welcoming note.

The spacious ensuite bathroom has a generously large bath and shower cubicle and its own view of the golfcourse. 

Dont forget to cool off in the  swimming pool situated in the garden and  improve your tan on the  loungers on the adjacent patio, a pleasant secluded suntrap!
